Thoughts, no. 75

The Sargasso Sea is the only sea with no coast. Every other sea is water that some land holds in; this one is held in by water, a slow clockwise turn of the North Atlantic with the Gulf Stream down one side and three other currents round the rest. Its edges move, nobody can stand on them, and the floating weed it is named for stays there not because anything stops it leaving but because everything around it is going in a circle.
